Wow, $16 I’m curious to know what you bought exactly because I’m afraid we are going to be in that situation later on this year. We are also very tight on money and then with the new baby coming I’m really hoping he breastfeeds like a champ and that I fall in love with using cloth diapers so we have money for all our bills and groceries!

I’ve thought about that, too– it sucks that unhealthy stuff is generally way cheaper. Now that Shea is drinking some whole milk I like to buy organic, though I nearly choke on the price. Eek!
Good thing she doesn’t like it all that much, I guess.

I’m also impressed with the $16 findings!

I hear you… And I’m telling you… You did really good to get groceries for that long for that price. I can’t stand going into the market and seeing the foods that the boys need to eat for such crazy prices! It’s crazy. GREAT post!! Honestly… perfect!

I get what you’re saying. I’m not sure what I’d do in that situation…$16 for 10 days worth of groceries…I’m surprised you were able to get what you did.

I totally understand what you are saying. I feel the same way. I love fresh and organic but it is so expensive. And yes you can find deals but then you have to drive around and with gas so expensive you aren’t really saving money. So crazy the way things work.
