I just finished this card for my best-friend in Florida. As the card says, I miss her so much. It’s crazy, we talk so rarely on the phone and I don’t really know the normal parts of her day, but I still feel so close to her. I think this quote describes us well:
” I haven’t seen you in awhile, but I often imagine all your expressions. I haven’t spoken to you in awhile, but many times I hear your thoughts. Good friends must not always be together. It is the feeling of oneness, when distant that proves a friendship lasting.”

If I would have found this quote before writing my note to her on the back, I probably would have included it instead. I was inspired to make this card from a very similar one I saw in my book Designing with Greetings, published by Autumn Leaves. BTW this card only took about 30 min start to finish. Figuring out the template for the flip flop was the hardest part for me. I can’t be the only one that has a hard time drawing wavy lines
