Ah, this is what I have been longing for! Madeline is now at home! I’ve longed to experience with her the most basic of activities. I love that right now she is sleeping in her crib, I’m wondering if I should wake her to eat or let her sleep, I’m slightly tired from my new sleep/awake routine…all these things are so “normal” and I love it. No longer do I have to ask permission to pick my daughter up, no longer are our times together limited by our separate lives. She is solely our responsibility, completely in our care. (That made for a rather chaotic first night, but we are all getting the hang of things now.)

Hooray for Maddie being home! What a sleepless joy.
Congrats on bringing her home!! I checked out your pictures, and she is just beautiful! The one with the dog is funny. We’ve had problems with our cat since we’ve brought our baby girl home too….we’re having no luck giving her away though.
