Christian is four months now. He’s such a joy. He sleeps through the night and smiles all the time. I love my little man. When I was pregnant with him I was so worried that I would miss the bonding I got to have with Maddie. Not true. We have tons of little moments together. He still takes his 1 o’clock nap on my chest and we get tons of cooing heart to hearts when Maddie has gone to bed at 8. He’s so easy going. Maddie’s just discovered “eyes”. He smiles, squirms and soaks up her attention when she energetically points out “babies eye”. (We’re lucky he still has eyes:) )

Madeline, my little 16 month old doll. Her vocabulary is growing. Most of it only Dustin and I can understand. She loves feeding Kayla dog food piece by piece.(A compromise we reached to keep her from eating it
)She is non-stop adventure. She loves pushing her bear around in her shopping cart and is all girl. First thing in the morning, she has to have her shoes on and then the rest of the day is spent adorning herself with treasures to be shown to her daddy.
I love having kids this close together. The “they’re not both yours” comments don’t bother me anymore. I just smile and well up at my fortune that they are in fact “both mine”.

They are precious! I have been anticipating a baby update for a while now. When they get a little older I bet you’ll get the “are they twins” question a lot.
Oh they are so cute! It’s great having kids close together (of course mine aren’t that close, 17mos apart is my closest) I get the same “they can’t be all your’s” comment way too often.
I love, love, love them
I love these pictures! I’m constantly wondering how you’re doing and holding up, I can only imagine how tired you must be! You seem to go with the flow with such ease, learning from each experience and kindly sharing with us… thank you!
Mary, thanks for the Jazz recommendation, I just bought the entire album on iTunes, I LOVE IT!!!
