Holy Crap (is that blasphemous?) it’s raining! It’s raining in the desert!!! If we had a t.v. I’m sure I could turn it to any station and they would have newscasters in their ridiculous rain coats for the sprinkle that is happening right now.
Oh wait. It stopped.
This is so different from Florida. It really rained back home. Like, rain so hard that your windshield wipers won’t go fast enough. Rain so hard that they have gutters designed to take water out of the roads. Rain so hard you don’t even bother with an umbrella, you just haul butt to the car.
Here, I can count the rain drops that land on my windshield. The windshield wipers get used so infrequently that when you actually may want to clean the dust off of your window with them, they just fall off. BUT! I just heard the sound of sprinkles, and it made my wind chimes sing, so I’m proclaiming that it is in fact raining in the desert!!! Oh happy day!
What the crap was that all about anyways?
Oh my gosh….thunder!!!! I could cry! I could just cry!
I think these pregnancy hormones are taking over. I didn’t sleep again last night. Dustin woke up all lazy eyed and “Oh, what a great night sleep. You look beautiful”. I on the other hand was still awake. Sort of. Did I even sleep? I must have because at some point I was the hot piratess captain of the Black Pearl.
Ok. everyone can go back to their Thursday now. I’m done. I’m totally making no sense and going back to my sewing. Amen.

I can definitely relate to how it rains in Florida. I remember driving on the freeway one time at about 10 miles per hour and I couldn’t see the hood of my car. I was praying that I was still in my lane! I hope you are able to get some sleep! I hate not sleeping good. I haven’t been getting enough sleep lately and then I waste my day because I have to take a nap.
