I am most definitely pro life, but I read this blog post today, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. I don’t have my own thoughts collected yet to even give an opinion, but eventually my jaw will be back in place and jabbing away.

I read it…I guess I wasn’t as moved as you. I am pro life…I can’t just suddenly decide that it’s OK to do something like that b/c a lot of women think it’s OK. Just can’t do it.
I think that it’s important to remember that because someone is pro-choice doesn’t necessarily mean they are pro-abortion.
I think Rebecca really summed it up by saying, “I didn’t make a mistake having my baby. And my friend didn’t make a mistake not having hers. The right choice for me may not be the right choice for you and the right choice for you may not be the right choice for me and the right choice for Jamie Lynn Spears may be the wrong choice for you and your family but come on, now. Let’s all have some respect for people’s procreational choices.”
I have always believed that we are no one to judge another person unless we have walked a mile in their shoes…..so I do not judge others for their decisions. And I completely agree that pro choice does not equal pro abortion.
I am so glad I never had to be in that situation as a teenager. That said, I know I would have had the support (although not a “I’m 100% proud of you!”) from my parents. To paraphrase MrsSSG, let he among us without sin be the first to condemn!
Thanks for bringing this post up here.
